It seems I spoke too soon, 8 inches of snow today!

Well, it has finally started to thaw out here with just a few patches of icy snow left. Perhaps the chilliest time was the night we first arrived in the twin cities with a temp of minus 26C! Anyway it's just about warm enough to leave the apartment and tonight we're going to head out for a pint at a microbrewery in downtown Saint Paul. Apparently they pull proper pints at the proper temperature including the 6.8% Ides of March IPA (Anadin breakfast might be required tomorrow).
Not been up to much lately; checked out a couple of the local skiing 'resorts' and although no French Alps, provided much fun and laughs. Also tried ice-skating, which was great until I landed on my face (bloody nose resulted).
